Adding a Business

Before Adding your Listing, You First Need to Register/Login:
You will receive an email which will contain your login credentials.
After you have logged in, click on “Add a Listing” in the Top Right Menu.
Select the type of listing you would like to add
Select your subscription package and then follow the step by step instructions to complete the process.  You will have to add your business details and upload images for your photo gallery.

This is why we allow you to upload professional company images, have your own unique profile page, and ensure your profile is indexed on major search engines, like Google, so even if someone is not on our website, they can still find you!

Cancel Listing

DoulaBiz aims to provide comprehensive business listings to our users, much like other business directories, we do not readily remove businesses from our listing. However, the accuracy of your information is critical to us and the voice of the business owner is highly valued. You can update your information by claiming your business (See How do I claim my business?).  You can also call us at 876-615-2222 or email our customer success team at support@doulabiz.com to have a member of our team assist with your request.

Cancel Order

You have 24 hours to cancel an order before it is shipped.  Once the delivery is on its way to you, the item can no longer be cancelled.  However, you do have seven (7) days within which to return the item(s) if they do not meet your needs.  See “How do I return a product?”

Claim Business

DoulaBiz allows business owners to claim and customize their business listings by becoming paid subscribers. To get started, sign up for an account with DoulaBiz. Once your account is set up, search for your business on our site. When you find your business, click the “Own this business?” link for your business listing.  You will be directed to our list of subscription packages from which to choose.  We have affordable packages starting as low as $2,995.00.

If you find your business on DoulaBiz but do not see a “Own this business?” link on your business listing page, that indicates your business has been claimed. Often, someone from within your company has claimed the listing by becoming a paid subscriber. If you cannot determine who claimed the listing, contact our Customer Success Team at support@doulabiz.com. You will need to provide evidence verifying your association with the business so we can assist you further.   You can scan and attach any documentation you have verifying your association with the organization in your email to us.  Usually emailing us your business card (send as an attachment) connecting you to this business, or a request on the company’s letter head is sufficient.  Also, where possible, please include the URL to the business listing you are trying to claim.

Featured Businesses

To add a promotion, sign in to your account and go to your dashboard.  On this page you will have access to do many things, including setting up your promotion to have your business featured on our home page. You may also use our live chat, during regular business hours, to speak to a member of our team.

General Enquiry

Any business, service, or organization serving the Jamaican consumer.   The goal of DoulaBiz is to promote awareness of your business, products and/or services. All business owners are entitled to a free listing.

If your business is listed on DoulaBiz.com, it means a member of our customer success team contacted your organization, spoke to a member of your team who provided us with your business name, address and telephone number.  If you wish to have your business listing deleted from our site, call us at 876-615-2222 or email our customer success team at support@doulabiz.com to have a member of our team assist you with your request.

Once you’ve created a listing for your own business, event, or job, you can share your listings on social media and encourage other businesses to create their own listings.

Keywords allow DoulaBiz to determine linked associations for each business and share and display relevant businesses to our users based on their search request.

These are words you enter to help people find your business when searching for your products and services.  Key words can be updated at any time to meet the changing needs of your business.

Listing Approval

We understand you have a business to run, that’s why we’ve made the process of listing your business on DoulaBiz as easy as posting an update on your social media pages. With DoulaBiz, you can monitor reviews and listings, communicate with customers, and create special offers within minutes.  All listings are approved and published online within 24 hours.

Login

Go to https://doulabiz.com , create a user name and password or login with your google or Facebook account, this process will take less than a minute of your time.  You will receive an email with your login credentials once you have registered.  You can then login and add your business listings.

New Category Request

While the business directory covers a broad cross-section of categories, a business or organization may not find a category that describes its services. If possible, please use the existing categories; if you find this unworkable, select “Other” and then fill in the box below with your desired category.  You can also visit our New Category Request page and send us your new suggested category.  Our team will review your request and reply to you within 24 hours.

Online Payments

PayPal accounts are free and only take a minute to create.  All you need to create a PayPal account is your name and email address.  PayPal is one of the safest online payment gateways available today.  With PayPal, the safety and security of your card and other personal information is guaranteed.

There are multiple payment options for persons without a credit or visa debit card.  Other payment options will include cheque, cash on delivery (COD), bank transfer, direct bank deposit, remittance (Western Union, MoneyGram, etc.).

Product Delivery

Your items can either be delivered directly to your door or they can be picked up from the seller.  This will depend on the payment option chosen at checkout.

Product Return

Login to your dashboard and request to have your recent purchase returned.  You will be sent the shipping details for your supplier to which the item is to be returned.  The item(s) been returned must be unused and in their original package.  Opened, used or damaged products do not qualify for a refund, unless approved by your supplier.  Speak to your supplier about your special needs.

Renewal of Listing

Subscription packages are automatically renewed at the end of the subscription period.  When a package cannot be automatically renewed via our online payment method, a member of our customer success team will contact you to assist you in completing the renewal process. If you choose not to have your listing renewed, or if we cannot reach you, then the listing will be reduced to a free listing.

Reviews

DoulaBiz has a user-driven review system built right in, allowing customers to post reviews of your products, services, and professional delivery. Reviews are a great way of engaging the public to gain valuable customer feedback, while also serving as testimonials for other potential customers.  Customer reviews can serve as a strong indicator as to what you’re doing well, and generate insight into ways that can help your business improve.
Receive a negative review? Make the situation right by providing meaningful feedback to any reviews to resolve the customer’s issue or concern. You’ll be notified via email whenever a new review has been submitted, allowing you to react accordingly.

As the business owner, you can attempt to have a review removed from your business listing by submitting it to our team. To report a review, sign in and go to this review and click Report Abuse. Our team will assess the review to see if it meets our Terms and Conditions.
If it meets these terms, the review will remain on the site. If it violates our Terms and Conditions, it will be promptly removed.  An email notification will be sent out to you informing you of our decision.
Assuming the review complies with our Terms and Conditions, you can respond to the review by clicking Reply.

The listings on DoulaBiz grows daily, and with over 6,000 businesses on DoulaBiz, it’s possible your company is already listed. Use the search bar on the Home Page to quickly search for your company. The search is space sensitive, so look for the name of your company with and without the spaces between the words and numbers.

You can manually search the town, street or city of interest or you can simply allow our geo-targeting to use your current location in real-time to match you with the closest businesses offering the products and services you’re searching for. Whether you are looking for a particular business, a specific shop, or for great deals islandwide, you now have the freedom to make the best purchasing decision available.

Search by Entering a Keyword, a category or just search for all businesses in a particular area.  To find a business on DoulaBiz you simply type in the name of the business or the product you are interested in or any keywords associated with the business you are looking for into the search box.
You can also do a general search by clicking “Explore” and then narrow your search by adding a filter.

All active subscribers can make “UNLIMITED EDITS” to their business information. To edit your business information, sign in to your account and go to your dashboard.  You will need to have claimed your business to have access to it to make any revisions.  On this page you will have access to do many things, including:

All subscribers get to control and maintain the content of their listing and ensure it is always current and accurate. During the online registration process, you will choose a username and password. Record this information in a safe place for future reference. When you become a subscriber and want to make a change, log in to your dashboard and this will give you full administrative access to all your listings.

You should have received your login credentials in your email after you signed up. You can also click on “Forgot Password” and we’ll send you an email to reset your password. If you’re not sure what email you provided or if you did not receive your password reset notification – please contact our customer support team at 876-615-2222 for assistance. Vendor

Complete our online Vendor Registration form and allow up to five (5) business days for processing and approval.

Payments will be made directly to your bank account, cheque, or via any of your preferred payment methods.

If you have a YouTube account, you can feature your videos directly within your business listing.  Video is a great medium that can add definition and consistency to your brand.  Video provides impact and an unmatched “WOW” factor.
